Fruit Fly Trap Vinegar

Cover snugly with plastic wrap, pull tight, sealing tightly and taught, all the way around the ramekin. To make a homemade fruit fly trap, pour ½ cup of apple cider vinegar into a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of dish soap. As they start to evaporate, i add a bit of water and a drop of dishwashing liquid to each trap once a week or so.

For this homemade fruit fly lure, put three or four tablespoons of apple cider vinegar into a glass or jar. You will also need a piece of fruit. If you have a heavy fruit fly infestation, you might want to make several vinegar traps and place them in your kitchen and in other rooms where fruit.

Step 5 place a small piece of ripe fruit or raw meat into the bottom of the trap.

Place a small amount of the vinegar in a bowl and cover it tightly with plastic wrap. This is an incredibly simple trap that should help to catch any rogue fruit flies.
